Everything was so amazing! The staff, room, cleaning crew, and hotel were all exceptional. The hotel being connected to Ryōgoku Station & a 7-Eleven was extremely convenient, too. The park next door is also gorgeous. We also really loved the view of Skytree & that they offered a free Disney shuttle. We just loved everything!! While it was a little tight for my husband and I and 3 suitcases, it was still very cozy and we were able to get around the room just fine. I can’t recommend this hotel enough, our visit was absolutely perfect! We will be back to visit Tokyo, and will definitely choose this hotel for all future trips. Some traveller tips: ~You can do laundry around the corner at CoreWash Sumida. The machines are all-in-one, affordable, & take coins (we only spent ¥1500 on a huge suitcase full of clothes). ~I can only speak for US travelers, but just use the ATM at the 7-Eleven on site to get cash. ~Be sure to explore the neighborhood! Keiyo Road has lots of great shops (stop by the sumo gift shop across the street from Daiso!), same with the road that runs along the JR Line near the hotel going towards Sumida River.

Staff was kind and helpful. Room was comfortable, with 3 very spacious beds, a beautiful view of the city and spotless clean. There were plenty of japanese sockets, that let us charge many devices at the same time and the area was quiet both during day and night. There was a convenience store and a post office in the same building, while metro station was just next to it. However, it's worth to mention that it wasn't possible to use JR pass there. If you want to use the JR pass, you must walk few hundred meters, till the back of the building where a JR Station is placed. From there, it's possible to reach Akihabara in only 2 stops! Skytree tower is 30 min far on foot from the hotel and Edo museum is just next to it. A free shuttle to and from Disneyland is also available everyday.

Though it is not located in those main well known areas like Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, it is near a JR station whereby you can connect to the main Yamanote line that takes you to all the main tourist locations. As we bought JR passes so we don’t have to pay extra to take metro lines. Out of the 5 days in Tokyo, 2 days were spent at Disneyland / DisneySea. This hotel provides free shuttle bus to / fro these parks so we don’t have to navigate through the train / subway during peak hours. There is a 7-eleven right next to the hotel making it convenient for us to grab food, snack and drinks anytime we need.

1. For the price that they offer, the room size is bigger than most hotels in Tokyo. I can easily put two of my luggages without obstruction. 2. It’s located right beside the Ryogoku Station, gate A1 and this station has escalators. 3. The hotel is a bit old in terms of the look BUT they are very well maintained. 4. My room 2428 view was the Tokyo Sky Tree. 5. The staffs were very helpful. 6. You can keep your luggage at the hotel if you are early for check in or check out. 7. There’s 7eleven just opposite the back entrance of the hotel.

The location was great for our visit as we were attending a few days of the May Sumo Tournament. The staff were lovely, most spoke great English, but those that didn't were fantastic with trying to get the message across in Japanese or with the use of Google translate. Hotel was very clean and room got cleaned regularly. Had the Earthquake Temple next to the hotel which also has a playground and beautiful paths to walk if you need something for the kids or to be grounded in nature within the city.
